    Dealer Notes

2016 Audi A4 "all road" is fully serviced with two wheel bearings, front end suspension, fresh oil change and new filters, four-way brake job, and a fresh Vermont state inspection.  It has a clean Carfax history report.

While the crossover has long since supplanted the wagon as America's family hauler of choice, Audi is quite happy to offer its 2016 Allroad wagon. We suspect that's because the "carlike handling" claimed by many crossovers just isn't always enough. Some drivers demand the responsive feel of an actual car, and that's precisely what Audi's sole remaining wagon provides. Moreover, its slightly raised ride height and standard all-wheel drive enable it to tackle snowy roads and light-duty off-road trails with ease.

Inside, the A4-derived Allroad gets the full luxury treatment with generous standard features like leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof, plus options like a remarkable Bang & Olufsen audio system. Although comparable crossovers offer more total cargo volume, the Allroad can nonetheless haul a lot of stuff with its rear seatbacks folded down. It's only in the technology realm that this all-season wagon starts to falter. Audi's familiar MMI infotainment system certainly offers access to a wide range of features, but the base version has awkward dash-mounted controls and lacks Bluetooth audio connectivity, while a USB port simply isn't available. These are unusual shortcomings in a contemporary luxury vehicle. (source: Edmunds)

    • Incredible car with one huge issue-

By Dme on Thursday, January 13, 2022

      2.0
I’ll start by saying this is one beautiful, comfortable, great to drive car. It’s my second Audi, the first an A4 many years ago. The features are easy to use. The safety of blind spot, park assist are wonderful. I think the pick up is fast and handles like a dream. Here’s the big downside-within last 10 months or so I am burning oil…..like every 4 days burning oil. Mechanic checked it out and couldn’t find the source. Now it’s gone from the oil burning to the coolant going below minimum every few weeks. This is insanity for this brand of car with low mileage for the age. I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m pretty certain it’ll cost thousands unless I just do a trade in. I have never had a car eat oil and now coolant like this. Unacceptable. I will probably return to a Lexus SUV which are much, much less expensive to fix and so reliable.

This is my second Allroad the first was a 2003. Overall I love the car, I live in the mountains and at the beach so ability to drive in snow is crucial (added all mountain tires) Miss the hydraulics and power of the 2003 but this one still gets me there. Have to keep wheel wells cleared out as freezing snow builds up. Plenty of room inside for my mountain bike, skis, gear. Classy looks and the handling makes the winding mountain road a blast. Heels, boots or barefoot I'd buy it again ! A woman driver ;)
