    Hi, I am Robert Miller and was born right here in Burlington Vt. I started in the car business when I was 23 years old selling cars and have been in the business for the last 30 years here in Chittenden County Vt. At the height of my car selling career, I was personally selling 60+ cars a month. I eventually went on to become an F&I Manager, used car manager/ used car buyer, Sales manager, General manager and eventually had the opportunity to buy into a franchise car dealership to become a dealer owner. I am also a graduate of National Automotive Dealers Association (N.A.D.A) of automotive dealer management. In 2013 I started Carters Cars Inc. in Milton, Vt people always ask who is Carter? Well Carter is my son and the dealership was named after him. I started the dealership with the premise to sell the highest quality preowned vehicles at the lowest price; I figured with all my years as used car buyer and manager I would be able to accomplish that goal. By 2016 we had three very successful years and was evident that we outgrew our small location in Milton, VT. We had the opportunity to move the dealership to a prime location at 1089 Shelburne Rd. South Burlington Vt 05403. To this day that is where we are located. I have fantastic team of 16 employees here at Carters. Now a days you find me here at the dealership spending almost all my time scouring the country looking for cars that meet our strict standards. I look specifically for quality vehicles that have limited to NO rust that can be shipped back to VT that we can sell at an inexpensive price. Every car we sell here at the dealership I personally would own and drive. We service all our vehicles prior to the sale and after. We have fantastic service business and when you buy a car from us, we welcome you to join our family of happy service customers. We have one of the lowest Labor service rates in Chittenden County.     I am originally from St. Albans but have since moved to Essex Junction. I have been in the car business for 15 years but have been with Carters Cars since October of 2016. I love that I get to meet new customers regularly and am able to work in a friendly, family atmosphere.

    I am a passionate Nascar fan and love to watch and attend any Nascar events that I can.

    My first car was a 1988 Pontiac Grand Am.
